Prices & How to Book
You may see Wern-y-Cwm Farm advertised via various holiday rental websites with rates that differ to ours due to agency commissions. Whether you book via an agency or direct with us, you will be booking in line with our T&Cs of hire.
Please check the availability calendar and prices (below), then submit the form. We will respond on asap on weekdays. Once you booking is confirmed, you may add extra guests, meals from our Farm Kitchen, a private chef, private sauna sessions, a hot tub (where available), or a massage or treatment in our therapy room.
How to Cost & Book Your Trip
1. Work out your maximum number of guests to check which property/properties would suit. We are happy to advise if helpful.
2. Check the Calendar, consult your tribe (try to give them 2 date options) and make a booking enquiry giving us brief details of the reason for your gathering.
3. After we confirm the availability, we will send you the booking form and T&Cs of hire along with a deposit invoice at the "Occupancy Level" rate, holding the property for 24 hours while you pay the deposit.
4. You can confirm the exact number of extra guests and any other items when you pay the full payment, 60 days before your trip.
Wern-y-Cwm is suitable for romantic breaks, family and friends gatherings and holidays, wellness, cycling, yoga & business retreats. We regret that we do not accept noisy parties, weddings, or groups of under 30 year olds.
Prices are for guests up to the "Occupancy Level" listed in the chart below
Extra guests (over the occupancy level) are £30 per person per night.
The Great Barn rental is also subject to the "Occupancy Level"
Extra guests or staff are £20 per person per day/part day. This charge does not apply if we are catering. We only permit outside suppliers if we are unable to cater in-house.
Groups of more than 28 guests will need to book the Great Barn as a suitably sized gathering, eating and entertainment space since the Farmhouse Kitchen can only seat 28 (at a push).

Accommodation bookings, of any property, are subject to a minimum night stay of:
2 nights mid-week (Monday to Thursday)
3 nights over a weekend (Thursday to Monday)
4 nights over any bank holiday period (other than Christmas Day)
7 nights over Christmas Day

Week day stays at the lower rate do not apply to Christmas Week and New Year bookings
*Prices are for up to the Occupancy Level. Accommodation for Extra Guests is charged at £30 per person per night (minimum no. of nights applies)
Non-resident extra Guests in the Great Barn are charged at £20 per person per day/visit (but the vast majority must stay on site)
Well behaved dogs of a reasonable size are welcome for a fee of £15 per dog, per night
The price for the Camping Field hire depends on the type of booking. Please ask for details
Eloise, the Retro Campervan, is available to rent from April to September for a maximum of 28 days
A VAT invoice will be issued to all direct bookings. All prices are inclusive of VAT

Check our Availability by Property
The Large Print
Wern-y-Cwm Farm is a historic farmstead with numerous properties converted from the buildings. We are a private home and holiday/retreat business and will accept your individual property booking or larger group booking in line with Planning Restrictions and Fiscal Legislation. This means that guests are using the property for a holiday, which could include multi-generational family parties, wellness or yoga retreats, creative learning holidays or company bonding stays. We do not hold weddings but are happy to host families staying in Wales for a break either side of attending a wedding, and can recommend some amazing local wedding venues within a few minutes drive.
We have an alcohol license and are happy to source and sell you wine, beer and spirits at very reasonable rates.
Wern-y-Cwm gardens and farm land is managed with a strict sustainable ethos. The properties have air and ground source heating and our furniture, fixtures and building materials are, where possible, up-cycled or reclaimed. In view of these principles please do not bring balloons, glitter or any single use plastic decorations or toys. You will find our properties stunning and do not need embellishment. We also encourage you not to bring flown in flowers, instead pick your own from our cutting garden or wildflowers from the fields and verges (but please not from the formal flower beds). Thank you for helping us to preserve this stunning part of the world.
Please consulting our Booking Manager before making any firm plans. If you are looking for catering we will try to support your in house, before considering external chefs.

25% down payment is due to secure your booking. Final balance is due 60 days before your stay. Refundable breakage deposit is £1,000 per larger property or £300 for the Cider House or Owl House (or more depending on the event). Book with confidence that you may change or cancel your reservation up to 60 days before your stay.
NB: You may not book the Great Barn without the on site accommodation.
