It’s two years since we launched our retreats at Wern-y-Cwm and we are so proud to have been listed in The Guardian’s 10 of the Best UK Wellbeing Retreats for 2025.

To be precise, we were listed FIRST in that auspicious list of stunning retreat centres. Now I’m not pretending to be anything that we are not, and admit there was nothing in the article to suggest there was an order of magnificence, but I’ll take a bow to coming up first on the list anyway! What a great start to the year, especially after being voted Southeast Wales’s Best Holiday Let in December. So we are now in the final for the whole country Tourist Board Awards in March. So much fun.

The team and I have worked hard to create this amazing place, and we are well-chuffed when we get noticed. Thank you, The Guardian, I’ll be loyal forever as long as that won't impede your editorial integrity which I appreciate is vitally important. x
