I would just like to say to anyone who is looking at this review with a mind to booking this amazing house, just do it, you will not be disappointed. Laura is a fantastic host, she is friendly, proactive, and above all polite as well as accommodating, doing everything she can to ensure your trip is all you wish for. The farm is one of the best I’ve ever seen, simply a beautiful location, you couldn’t wish for more. Thank you Laura, we wish you all the best and I am sure we will be back to visit one of your Yoga retreats … they looked fab too!

We had a fantastic weekend staying in the Cider House at Wern-y-Cwm Farm. Laura and Emily were excellent hosts, with clear communication and quick responses, being available if needed during our stay, whilst the key lockbox meant is was easy to come and go as we liked. The house was perfect for a cosy winter getaway, and I imagine would be equally great in warmer weather, with both a private walled garden and communal outside space. The grounds are beautiful and the views are stunning. We walked from the door up and over Skirrd Fawr and can recommend lunch at the Skirrid Mountain Inn in Llanfihangel Crucorney. Abergavenny is a 10 minute drive away and has plenty of shops and good pubs and restaurants. Thanks for a great weekend / Diolch yn fawr iawn!

The Dairy was absolutely perfect for our stay. Couldn't have asked for a better property or location. Immaculate, bright and colourful, with a lovely garden and hot tub. We played skittles on the lawn and had a table tennis tournament. We had a lovely pamper and movie night. We did a beautiful walk up the Skirrid, and were blown away by the views and the amazing weather we had in October; we got sunburnt! Kitchen was perfect for the amount of people we had, and had everything we needed. Can't recommend this lovely place enough.

Just to say we’ve left the Farmhouse now after the best weekend! My sister had the best time as did everyone so thank you. The house, barn, gardens, everything is beautiful - everyone kept talking about it.
Everyone had such a lovely time, it is a truly beautiful house and in such a breathtaking and amazing part of the country! (We can't thank you enough). Every room was so beautiful and so well thought out, everyday we were there it seemed like we found something new to love! The farmhouse kitchen treats were delicious too - it would be too hard to pick a favourite item as they were all divine.

The Dairy was perfect for our anniversary celebration and although we were so lucky with the weather the inside space would still have been great if we’d have had to spend more time inside . Everything was of high quality and we were very comfortable and whoever designed the conversion needs to be congratulated and we were noticing more and more artefacts as the weekend progressed . Thank you to all the staff for helping to make our stay so special in a perfect venue .

We had a lovely stay in the Cider House, thank you. The location and property were just what we wanted. We appreciated the earlier check-in on Thursday. The team were brilliant, so helpful and friendly and the totally delicious Welsh Cakes were fab. We booked the Hunter 's Moon Inn for dinner on your recommendation, which we also enjoyed. Again, we were made to feel very welcome and the food was spot on.

I can honestly say that all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dairy on Wern-y-Cwm farm. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law were saying just yesterday how we would definitely love to come back again for another stay. It's such a picturesque and idyllic spot that you have there and we couldn't believe that we were only half an hour away from home! So thankful for all your help and assistance with the booking, it really has been the best service I've had when booking any kind of accomodation/stay.

We had a beautiful weekend with friends at Wern -y-Cwm on the 4th of June 2022. It is located in a stunning setting with amazing views of the Welsh valleys. The accommodation was excellent, with cosy open fire features along with outside equipment, including a brand new hot tub to make your stay as comfortable as possible regardless what time of year you visit or weather conditions. We would highly recommend a stay here, we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you Wern-y-Cwm for a great weekend.

The cottage is perfect. It’s so pretty inside and in the most wonderful setting. Check-in and check-out was so simple and there’s loads of helpful information inside about where to eat and explore. It’s a great location - rural and perfect for walking and exploring the wilderness, yet close enough to various pubs, amenities and adventures. Will for sure visit here again!

We had a weekend at Wern-y-Cwm at the end of July. The weather was very kind to us considering we had been promised thunderstorms! The weekend was very chilled out with lots of games on the grass, a lot of trampolining, a lot of eating, and plenty of wine. After a very long time without seeing the family, it was the tonic we had all needed. My sister in law tried to book WYC for us all for Christmas she had been so impressed!!
The house/grounds/general quality of everything you have done is wonderful, and if I was Laura, I would not be sharing it!! I tried to book it for our friends in June 22 (and us), and you were already booked - word getting around obviously! I’m sure we will be back (when we can get in!!), but in the meantime, I wish you the best of luck.

The house was in a beautiful setting. Immaculately clean and the rooms were really spacious! Well equipped for a big family to all dine together. We had plenty of room in the bedrooms even with z-beds set up. The jacuzzi was a lovely feature with the gorgeous view.
You will not be disappointed!!

We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter and can honestly say the house and location was breathtaking!
On arrival the house was immaculately cleaned with everything you need for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I can't recommend this place enough, we will most definitely be looking at returning next year!!

Our group of 17 could not have been more happy with our stay at the one-of-a-kind Wern-Y-Cwm Farmhouse. The home was impeccable in every way - super clean and beautifully decorated. The hosts were very helpful with my many questions while arranging the booking from the U.S. and accessible when we needed to call with a last-minute request after check-in.
The hosts provide lots of information about the operations of the home itself and also about things to do in the surrounding area. The hot tub was a special treat we much enjoyed! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

What a brilliant place to stay and enjoy the stunning South Wales scenery. The property is huge with a massive kitchen dining area and a massive lounge, it is very very clean and tidy and furnished to a very high standard, our party of 11 people all enjoyed staying at the Dairy and we would highly recommend it

Three of us spent a few nights at Cider House and had the most lovely, peaceful time. The house was perfect: cosy, clean and with a well equipped kitchen. The well-kept grounds and surrounding countryside were
stunning, with beautiful walks right from the doorstep. Despite feeling like we were hidden from the world in the very best way, Abergavenny is only a 15
minute drive away and has many shops, places to eat, galleries, a market and a couple of supermarkets so there was plenty to do.
One of the main draws of this property for us was that it was dog friendly; we brought our two very energetic terriers and both the house and the location was perfect for them too. We’re already planning on booking a return visit.

The house was very beautifully decorated and well kept. It looked much better in real life than the pictures. Very spacious and well-equipped with anything that one may need during a stay. We were a group of 16 people including 7 kids and everyone enjoyed it to the fullest. There were so many board games, toys and books to engage the kids and table tennis for adults. Each bedroom was very interestingly decorated. Would always recommend for a luxurious stay.

I can’t even put in to words the incredible time we had at this house. The house itself is beautiful and the location is breathtaking. We went for a birthday celebration, and all had an amazing time. We are even talking about planning a summer visit next year. The disco den was a great bonus, and we had the most amazing fancy dress party in there. Book this property ASAP!!
